The iconic gospel group, The
Blind Boys Of Alabama with the help of some
Nashville Cats, put out a CD that is a real good

Place To Turn Around
If
you line up all of the albums by Wade Hayes, from the
first one (Old Enough to Know Better – 1994) to the
current one, Place To Turn Around, you can't
help but notice the covers are an accurate photographic
reflection of the evolution of the man and so it should come
as no surprise that the album contents are indicative of how
his music has kept pace and grown with him. The best part
is, like the proverbial fine wine, Hayes has only gotten
better over time...

Young - Plant City Florida Strawberry Festival
I wasn't sure what to expect
upon arriving at the Strawberry Festival. I hadn't been in
my home state for years and I can't recall the last time I
attended this festival. Before this evening, all I knew for

I could hardly be disappointed at a festival that showcases
both. After all is said and done, I have to say it was no
surprise that the strawberry shortcake was good and sweet
but it turns out that so is the handsome gentleman from
Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It isn't difficult to see why Chris
Young was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Artist at
this years Grammys.

thinking, I wouldn't be getting a crick in my neck tonight
because all of the stars were on stage in Tampa, Florida.

Concert: Tampa Florida/St.Pete Times
Forum
Soon after taking my seat at the St. Pete Times Forum I
found myself thinking that I was about to be entertained by
country music royalty. Everyone knows that George Strait is
the king, Reba McEntire is most often referred to as the
queen of country, then there are many heirs apparent to the
throne of country music and Lee Ann Womack is most assuredly
qualified to be one of them...
