Ginger Harvey

Song: "Girls Like Fast Cars Too"

A native of Nokesville, Virginia, Ginger Harvey has been singing and performing since childhood. She has also performed and competed in dance since the age of five. Ginger recorded her first CD back in 2001, before she was signed with Wild Oats Records in 2005.

Ginger Harvey is a recording artist with Wild Oats Records in Nashville, Tennessee. She performs regularly in Nashville, Virginia, and other areas. Ginger recently performed at the CMA Music Fest - Fan Fair, at the BB Kings Blues Club, in June, 2008. It was a talent showcase on November 5, 2005 in Nashville, TN that producers with Wild Oats Records discovered Ginger. She traveled to Music City USA for a week long stay, where she recorded her promotional album with Wild Oats.

Otis Kay, A&R (artists and repertoire) assistant at Wild Oats, said the versatility of Ginger's voice was one of the factors Wild Oats considered when approaching her. "She has a good range, a strong voice, nice tone and a very solid pitch, " he said. "She's also done a lot of singing and performing over the years, so she knows her voice well and has good vocal control." Ginger Harvey's new 2008 CD release is now available on CD Baby and on her website at www.gingerharvey.com . Ginger will be recording her Christmas CD single release, "Merry Christmas Wherever you Are", and will be available in December, 2008.
