Lonestar: Greatest Hits - From There To Here
CD Review by
Jim Weaver

CD Review:
Ten years, six albums and eight #1 hits has brought us to CD #7... From There To Here, Lonestar's Greatest Hits.  From traveling the roads packed up tight in a Jeep Cherokee hauling a trailer in 1993-94, to riding in fine motor coaches today, From There To Here highlights the career of a hard working band from Texas. Lonestar, pictured above, is (l-r) Michael Britt, Keech Rainwater, Dean Sams and Richie McDonald.

With 17 cuts the Greatest Hits package takes you literally From There To Here starting with their first hit song to their latest #1, "My Front Porch Lookin' In". Here's the list;

1. TEQUILA TALKIN'
2. NO NEWS
3. RUNNIN' AWAY WITH MY HEART
4. COME CRYIN' TO ME
5. YOU WALKED IN
6. EVERYTHING'S CHANGED
7. AMAZED
8. SMILE
9. WHAT ABOUT NOW
10. TELL HER
11. I'M ALREADY THERE
12. WITH ME
13. NOT A DAY GOES BY
14. MY FRONT PORCH LOOKIN' IN
15. I PRAY
16. WALKING IN MEMPHIS
17. I'M ALREADY THERE (MESSAGE FROM HOME)

Cut 17, I'm Already There (Message From Home), is a special remix of the #1 hit song including phone messages to the troops that will make you feel so proud and appreciative of the sacrifices that American families make when our troops go off to fight in on foreign soil.

I don't know if "I Pray" or "Walking In Memphis" is going to be the next single release but it wouldn't surprise me if either one went straight to the top to add to the amazing hit list of Lonestar.

Rating: Buy it!

Website Review by Jim Weaver:
Oh how convenient, Lonestar's website is down while I'm trying to review it! That's ok, I can do it from memory. Actually it's a very good site, colorful, informative and no Flash files. The only things missing are more pictures of the band with fans, in concert and the like... some type of message board and a links page. Although those might exist on the Fan Club portion of the site, don't know, don't have access. While I am a fan, I'd go broke fast trying to join every artists club.

Rating: Good Job!
