As a follow up to the chart busting success of his last album which netted six #1 hits on independent
country music charts, several award nominations from the 1999, 2000 and 2001 Golden Music and Online
Country Award Shows in Nashville. Aldo’s new album, appropriately titled Open Road, promises to be an even
bigger success with a slightly different sound and direction from past work.
Aldo has taken the sound that has become synonymous with him, expanded and fine tuned it to create a genre
all his own, while exploring other sides of himself and his influences. From the up-tempo rockabilly feel
of Stand On It and Everybody's After Molly, to the tender ballads, Fall Of The Year and Daddy's Shoes.
From the free spirited, Open Road and Dixieland, to the socially conscious, Hearts Of Stone. This album
has it all in what has been described by some Music Row executives as "power country".
The album's second single and title track was released to radio on May 2, 2005 to markets throughout the
U.S., South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Then after 16 weeks, became a #1 hit on the
Indie World chart, then the following week on the Inside Country Independent Chart where it remained for
two consecutive weeks.
