A perfect diamond is rated by "three C's;" color, cut and clarity. If you were to rate Brad Paisley by "three C's," they would most likely be charming, charismatic and comical. When you combine those traits with singer, songwriter and guitar player extraordinaire, you can pretty much guarantee Paisley an encore success to his double platinum Mud on the Tires. On Time Well Wasted, his fourth album for Arista Nashville, Paisley clearly demonstrates that his previous four number one hits, nine consecutive top five singles and more than five million albums sold, were well deserved. The first single released from this album, "Alcohol," is the fastest rising chart single of his career and one of the nine songs Paisley had a hand in writing for this CD and one of only two written solely by him for this project ("Easy Money" is the other). He is as well-known for his comical videos; "I'm Going to Miss Her (the fishing song)" and "Celebrity," which poked fun at fame and reality television, as he is for his singing. Those who know him well say that the videos accurately portray an artist who never takes himself too seriously. That type of humility, coupled with his incredible talent, has earned him the respect and admiration of, not just his fans but his peers, and this is clearly evident when you see who makes guest appearances on a few of the songs on this album. With fifteen actual tracks, the album offers a diverse selection and some special treats. Alan Jackson joins Paisley on "Out in the Parkin' Lot" and Dolly Parton sings along on "When I Get Where I'm going." On "Time Warp," solely instrumental, I'm pretty sure that is Paisley showing off his excellent guitar playing skills. On track eleven, "The Uncloudy Day," I'm not sure what is happening there. The song lasts about 45 seconds before it fades out. I thought my CD was skipping or sticking but, nope, that is all there is to that track so no need to take your CD player to the shop. I think Brad, forever the prankster, is just messin' with us to see if we are paying attention. The
album ends (sort of) with "Cornography," well I'm not really
sure what that's all about but it is George Jones, Little Jimmy Dickins,
Dolly Parton, James Burton and Bill Anderson on this "bonus
track." After track sixteen there is track seventeen, eighteen,
nineteen, twenty and twenty-one. None of them are longer than
thirty-five seconds and seem to be out-takes from sixteen; I'll let you
decide for yourselves what that's all about. Personally, I think Brad is
just messin' with us again. All kidding, aside, pop this CD in the player and escape this crazy world for a while. I'm sure you will agree that is was Time Well Wasted. Brad Paisley - Time Well Wasted track listing.

Wow! What a great CD. Brad just keeps getting better and better all the time. What an extraordinary song writer and guitar player. Each song is great and has a special meaning. Whenever I need a "pick me up" and/or need to hear a touching song, I know I can always pop one of Brad's CD's
in, and this one is no exception. Thanks Brad, for being such a great entertainer and bringing so much enjoyment to people. This CD proves it once again!
This CD is very well put together. I have
listen to it over and over for hours. The songs I like besides his single
is "She's Everything" the song he wrote for Kimberly and
"Easy Money" the one about them going on tour in a bus. I know
his wife Kimberly personally and she is a wonderful person to have
Brad.
I thought it couldn´t get any better after "mud on the tires". The new album is absolutely great, having Dolly Parton and Alan Jackson on there is a plus.
The Buckaroos are funny as ever. I do not regret getting this album. Keep up the good work Brad !
I just got the new Paisley CD and it’s awesome! It has a lot of great songs and I love the Cornography at the end!
