Gatlin
Brothers
- Family Gospel Favorites "Amazing Grace" never sounded better, just an acoustic guitar and the brothers taking turns on the singing until strings come in towards the middle and then they start singing in harmony. "Do Lord" with some finger snapping, bass, acoustic guitar, then piano and organ takes on the quality of a black spiritual song. Some drums and fiddle too. This song is just amazing. The sound quality of the disc is crystal clear. The vocals are just so warm and inspiring. Lots of a cappella parts in a lot of the songs. "It Is Well With My Soul" never sounded better with bass, strings and piano accompaniment. These songs are very heartfelt and sincere. A lot of "so called" Christian music today just does not have the spiritual feel like The Gatlin's do. Their arrangements have a signature quality to them. I loved "I'll Fly Away", it starts out slow, then takes off with an acoustic guitar and piano solos. They can really get creative with their harmonies. "In The Garden" never sounded better with some pedal steel and great acoustic guitar. This is just a great production by Terry Choate. Recorded at the Sony/Tree studios in Nashville. This music is guaranteed to bless your soul, unless your blesser's broke. Available now, get a copy at www.Dualtone.com, also, visit their website at www.gatlinbrothers.com for more info.
